Many people think it is difficult to cook a hollandaise sauce, but it is really easy and fast! And it is perfect now with asparagus, fish and much more.
INGREDIENTS HOLLANDAISE SAUCE 2-3 people
150 grams of butter
3 egg yolks
A little bit salt
And about 1 tablespoon of water
HOW TO MAKE HOLLANDAISESAS
- Melt the butter and set aside. Bring out the rest of the ingredients. The butter should be max 80C!
- Beat the egg yolks and the lemon juice in a saucepan on low heat.
- When it’s creamy, slowly stran the melted butter while stirring. Do not add the base white in the bottom!
- Add some water if needed.
- Add a pinch of salt.
- Serve right away!
If the sauce breaks, save it by adding some warm water while whisking.
Or add an extra egg yolk with hot water while whisking.
