Easy peady, but keep in mind that the asparagus is delicate! Serve with a good Hollandaise sauce:
YOU NEED THIS for 4 people
White asparagus 250 grams
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
INSTRUCTIONS HOW TO COOK WHITE ASPARAGUS
- Start by trimming the end of the asparagus.
- Then you peel it while it is laying down as it is really easy to break. Do not peel the top!
- Let them cook for 10-15 minutes depending on the thickness of the asparagus. They are done when they are tender.
- Rinse them quickly in cold water so that the cooking process stops. And use tongs to pick them up!
Don’t use aluminium pots as it can discolour the asparagus!
