HOW TO COOK WHITE ASPARAGUS

Easy peady, but keep in mind that the asparagus is delicate! Serve with a good Hollandaise sauce:

YOU NEED THIS for 4 people

White asparagus 250 grams
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt

INSTRUCTIONS HOW TO COOK WHITE ASPARAGUS

  1. Start by trimming the end of the asparagus.
  2. Then you peel it while it is laying down as it is really easy to break. Do not peel the top!
  3. Let them cook for 10-15 minutes depending on the thickness of the asparagus. They are done when they are tender.
  4. Rinse them quickly in cold water so that the cooking process stops. And use tongs to pick them up!

Don’t use aluminium pots as it can discolour the asparagus!
