You should always have some sugar syrup in the fridge if you like cocktails. Whether the cocktail is with or without alcohol. You need two things, water and sugar.
Pour 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar into a saucepan.
Simmer until sugar is dissolved. Allow to cool and store in a glass bottle.
You can also make the sugar syrup with for example, saffron like in this recipe.
