My daughter and I checked in for a day at a hotel in Stockholm. We decided to stay at the AC Hotel by Marriott in Ulriksdal outside Stockholm. They have many different offers now, and we had both dinner, breakfast and afternoon tea at the hotel.
The hotel opened up a few months ago, and Pontus Frithiof is running the restaurant with his Pic Poc by Pontus. More about that in another post! Link in the end;)
You enter the hotel into a large spacious lobby with a lovely light from the large panorama windows. The interior feels very international, but at the same time very Nordic with the bright colors, tree details and green plants. The lounge area is perfect for having a drink or a cup of coffee.
We had a suite with double bed, and then a lounge with sofa and TV. The bed was really comfy, and it was so quiet in the room! I really appreciate when it’s quiet at a hotel!
We had a safe, bathrobes, slippers, shampoo, conditioner, cream and soap, tea and coffee, and a fridge in the room.
The pool had a nice temperature so it’s great for swimming. We also tried out the jacuzzi to Emma’s big joy! There are three different types of saunas, dry, aroma and a lovely steam sauna. The steam room was my favorite, it felt a bit like I was in Asia with the humid air. The pool area is lined with comfy recliners and has a huge atrium window over the pool. There is also a modern gym and you can get different wellness treatments if you wish.
