I make smoothies nearly every morning. And my favourite smoothie for the moment is green, and it even contains a touch of kale! I normally don’t like kale in my smoothie, so just a touch..
Recipe for one big glass, or two average sized ones.
1 peeled banana
1 peeled lemongrass, so you use about 3 centimetres (1 inch)
A small piece of peeled turmeric
A small kale leaf, destemmed (or use a small frozen chunk)
1/2 peeled lime, save the other half for the next day.
1 dl (0,4 cups) fresh orange juice
1 dl (0,4 cups) yoghurt
Add everything into you mixer, I use a KitchenAid Artisan Blender so I can just throw it all into the mixer. If you are using a less powerful mixer, then cut up everything into smaller pieces before adding it.
Mix it all until it’s smooth! Enjoy!!
