This is a smoothie that only contains fruit and a splash of orange juice. Crazy good and refreshing! It contains mango, passion fruit and oranges but tastes mostly of mango. Talk about a vitamin kick! I use frozen mango, but fresh goes just as well of course! Mix with ice if you use fresh mango.
Mango contains many antioxidants that are said to be good for cholesterol, vision, some sorts of cancer prevention etc. I’m not sure if it is true, but I think that it is good if you eat pure food.
Mango smoothie ingredients
- ca 1,2 dl mango
- 1 passion fruit
- 1 peeled orange
- 1/2 – 1 dl orange juice
This is what you do
- Put all the fruit in a blender.
- Mix, with ice if you are using fresh mango
- Pour in orange juice, start with a little to adjust how loose or firm you want it.
- Pour into glass.
- Keep leftovers in the fridge, or make some ice cream sticks out of it!
An even healthier smoothie
If you want an even more nutritious Mango smoothie, you can add different kinds of seeds such as chia seeds, flax seeds or any other kind of seeds.
