Another version of Biftekia, the way a friend thought me how to do it. Greek burgers, or as they say in Greece -Biftekia. A favourite from when I used to live in Greece. And in the summer I make Biftekia at least once a week. You pronounce it like beef-TE-kya. They taste really good if you squeeze some fresh lemon juice over them.
Greek burgers, Ingredients for 3-4 persons
- 500 gram minced beef
- 1 egg
- 1,2 dl bread crumbs
- 1-2 garlic cloves, pressed

- 1/2 dl of chopped parsley
- 2 table spoons olive oil
- 1-2 table spoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Salt
- Pepper

1, Mix everything in a big bowl and either stir with a wooden spoon or mix it all with your hands.
2, Form into small hamburger shapped patties and place on a plate.
3, Either grill them, or use a frying pan.

Kali orexi as they say in Greece. It means Good appetite. And eating Greek food often means good food. So enjoy!
