Right now you can get hold of really good tomatoes and pomegranates, combining these is so delicious! It is just as good to serve as a side to a barbecue as to let the tomato and pomegranate salad be part of a buffet. On top of that, it is very beautiful to look at. Below you will find this simple recipe.
Ingredients
For about 6 persons
- 3 large sweet tomatoes
- 1 ripe pomegranate
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- Flake salt
Instructions
- Roll the pomegranate against the kitchen counter, press so that the seeds come loose. Split the pomegranate in half and squeeze the seeds into a bowl.
- Rinse and slice the tomatoes thinly. Place on a platter.
- Sprinkle the pomegranate seeds over the tomatoes.
- Pour olive oil over everything, and sprinkle a little flake salt over.
