My mornings starts with either a shot of raw ginger and sometimes raw ginger and turmeric juice. Sometimes I add a shot of this into my orange juice. Drinking it gives me so much energy! In the recipes below I have shared my ways to do it.
Ginger shot, with or without turmeric.
200 gram ginger
25 gram turmeric, if you want.
0,5 litre water
1 tablespoon honey (add more if you like)
Peel the ginger and and cut into pieces.
Add everything to a high-powered blender and blend until smooth.
Push everything into a mesh strainer to separate the juice from the pulp.
Or put everything into a juicer, then you don’t have to use a mesh strainer.
Mix in the juice of the lemon and the honey.
Pour it up in a glass bottle and keep it in the fridge. Drink within 2-3 days.
